Bill has over 40 years operational experience at clients’ disposal, the last 25 years operating at board level in PLC and Private Equity backed businesses in the Gaming, Leisure and Retail sectors.

Bill has held senior positions with Talarius (Tatt’s Group), Gala Bingo (later Buzz Group), Punch Taverns, Whitbread, Thresher, Staples and Sears. He has supported many Private Equity owners over the years including, Texas Pacific Group, Caledonia Investments, Nomura and the Principal Finance Group.

Bill has hands on experience leading senior teams to initiate and deliver transformational change in complex and challenging situations. He has delivered business turnaround and cultural change across sectors and product groups. He is passionate about ‘making a difference’ in a deeply practical way and achieves this by enabling others to be the best they can be through insightful questioning and diagnostics.

Following many successful years in Board level Operations and Marketing roles, Bill now applies his breadth and depth of knowledge and skills to help business leaders navigate change and unlock opportunities to improve profitability, employee engagement and customer satisfaction.

Bill encourages leadership teams to ‘confront the future’, finding answers for themselves and making informed decisions on setting strategic direction, as well as bringing the latest strategic thinking to the debate in an increasingly digital world.

Bill is an experienced executive coach, speaker on leadership and change management and holds an MBA as well as a PML from the UK Gambling Commission.
