Paul Langham is a leisure industry veteran entrepreneur specialising in gaming machines, technical logistics and operations.

He started his career in the leisure business in the late 70’s where he was the owner / operator for two businesses who specialised in the manufacturing and supply of pool tables as well as buying and supplying AWP and CLUB machines to supply the major retail leisure and hospitality groups. The business added a sales arm which imported PCB boards from Japan supplying UK operators with replacement boards. Paul sold this business to Ladrokes in 1980 and then went on to set up Town and County Leisure (T&CL) in 1982. He built T&CL over 25+ years supplying equipment to FTSE 500 retailers such as Everards, JD Weatherspoons, M&B and Punch Taverns to name a few, having built a portfolio of over 2000 machine positions in the UK.

T&CL also developed a service function providing engineering logistics, installations, repair, spare parts and outsourced services to a number of independent operators including; Mecca Bingo, Gala Bingo, Stanley Casino’s and Presaepe AGC’s.

In 2016 Paul sold T&CL to the Gauselmann Group who then retained Paul to transition his business in to the group and undertake a number of strategic projects which included; forming Merkur engineering UK and then in a project role working with Regal Gaming to explore new markets for service and collection. This resulted in new business wins within motorway services and working with the leading independent operators to place Gauselmann machines.

He completed his role with Gauselmann in 2020 and Paul is a now a non-executive advisor to MFortune business an online gaming operator and continues to lead his private business interests in his spare time which include; gaming machine distribution, site operating and project management services.

Paul was the Chairman of the independent operators association from 2012 to 2016 having served as its vice chair for four years prior to this. He has been part of advisory groups at BACTA and is a well-respected voice and industry leader who has a reputation for delivering on his promises.
