Over the last 35 years Phil Gibbs has worked in numerous roles for Bass Leisure, Gala Bingo, RAL Ltd, Talarius and Praesepe. At various times each of these companies has been the largest AGC & Bingo Operator in the UK gaming sector.

In his most recent role he was Operations Manager for Beacon Bingo which included direct responsibility for a club in North London which is the UKs largest Bingo Club attracting weekly players in excess of 10,000 and contributing over £3m pa in operational profit.

Assisted in the growth of Praesepe PLC from an AIM listed cash shell to a £120million turnover group which was subsequently sold to Gauselmann Group, one of Europe’s largest and most respected gaming companies. In his senior role in gaming businesses Phil has been closely involved in management development, new site acquisition, mystery shopping and all aspects of the marketing journey whilst controlling annual budgets in excess of £5 million.

More recently consulting to a prominent Midlands based family business and assisting in the opening of their new High Street Bingo proposition situated in Bristol.

Phil Gibbs holds a Personal Management Licence issued by the Gambling Commission and a Personal Liquor Licence. He has prepared, designed and implemented both national and local strategies for both SMEs and large corporates. He has had direct responsibility for the launch of over 200 Greenfield gaming businesses in the UK.
