Ron’s career began in the early 70’s, working for Lincolnshire Automatics as an arcade technician. He then worked with Arlington Leisure, repairing all types of amusement equipment, before moving to Casino Coin where he received training from US based IGT on the installation and servicing of casino slot machines and progressive jackpots. Ron then moved into amusement sales roles at Deith Leisure, Direct Machine Distributors, and Eurocoin, followed by product development at John Huxley.

For the last 18 years, Ron has been operating his own successful business - Amusement Machine Services Ltd. As the Managing Director, he has blended his expertise in sales and the servicing/repair of all amusement equipment with consultancy work and advising on technical support. As a result he is well placed to offer bespoke consultancy and masterclasses in these areas. He specialises in planned preventative maintenance programmes to ensure minimum downtime and maximum profitability of your leisure business.

Ron is a well-known and respected individual, who has made many valuable contacts over his long and established career. He has developed and maintained close contact with industry personnel, including suppliers and repairers of amusement/gaming products and all complementary components. Ron firmly believes that the success of any amusement or gaming property is the presentation and functionality of any machine that the customer plays.
